Five Valleys Charity Flea Market: Vintage Finds and Bargain Hunting

Online Flea Shop Details;

The Five Valleys Charity Flea Market is a beloved event that is making a return, promising a delightful experience filled with vintage treasures and incredible bargains for enthusiastic shoppers. Following the triumph of the previous year’s markets, where a community of sellers and bargain hunters united to support charitable endeavors, the organizers are heralding the arrival of the 2025 Five Valleys Flea Market dates with the onset of spring.

Scheduled for Sunday, March 16, the first market of the year will run from 11 am to 2 pm at the top level of the multi-storey car park, embracing a car boot style setup with 38 available pitches for sellers eager to showcase their wares. Visitors can look forward to exploring an array of stalls offering a diverse range of goods, from vintage ornaments and clothing to assorted knick-knacks.

This monthly market at Five Valleys is a recurring event throughout the year, consistently falling on Sundays. The upcoming dates for 2025 include April 13, May 18, June 22, July 20, August 17, September 14, and October 19. To facilitate the event, free parking will be provided for all confirmed pitches, with a nominal parking fee of £1 for flea market enthusiasts. It is important to note that due to car parking restrictions, vehicles with a maximum height exceeding 2 meters will not be accommodated.

Sellers participating in the flea market are required to bring their own tables, with spaces available for £10 each, out of which 50% will be contributed to the selected charity, The Dransfield Foundation. Established in 2014, The Dransfield Foundation focuses on aiding children and young individuals, having made substantial donations exceeding £200,000 to date. Noteworthy contributions within the Stroud community include a £2,000 grant to Allsorts, a local charity dedicated to assisting disabled children and their families in accessing everyday experiences that are often taken for granted.

Reflecting on the success of the previous markets, Kelly Winkworth, the assistant center manager at Five Valleys, expressed delight in witnessing the camaraderie among shoppers and stallholders in support of noble causes. She emphasized the opportunity the market provides for individuals to declutter their spaces by rehoming unused items or to acquire unique pre-loved items while contributing to charitable initiatives.

Whether one is seeking vintage gems or aiming to contribute to a meaningful cause, the Five Valleys market offers a diverse shopping experience catering to a wide audience.
