As she entered the roadway, her car was struck on the driver’s side by a pickup truck traveling east on U.S. 129, driven by Cole Alexander Bruce, 18, from Jefferson. Also in the truck was Sammy Lee Bruce, 44, both from Jefferson, who sustained minor injuries.
