A beloved member of the Quakertown community, Hazel I. Fulmer, aged 87, passed away on December 4, 2023. She was born in Coopersburg on October 16, 1936, to Wallace and Grace Emrich. Hazel was married to Ronald W. Fulmer for over five decades and shared her love for flea markets, frequently visiting the Quakertown Farmers Market, fondly known as the Q-mart, where she cherished spending time with friends.
Remembered by her surviving brother, Richard Hengey, nephew Craig Wise, niece Cathy Weitzel, and a host of other family and friends, Hazel’s life was marked by her vibrant presence and affectionate nature. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters Barbara Wise and Shirley Weitzel.
In honor of her memory, memorial donations can be directed to the Quakertown Police Department K-9 Unit. Contributions can be made by check payable to the Borough of Quakertown with a specific note for the K-9 Unit.
